The grants Disability Scholarships serve as aspect of the Council’s contribution to the advancement of the social sciences in Africa, and the steady renewal and strengthening of research capacities in African universities, through the funding of primary investigation carried out by postgraduate college students and professionals. Hence, Disability Scholarships candidates whose applications are effective are encouraged to use the assets furnished below the grants to cover the charge of their fieldwork, the acquisition of publications and paperwork, the processing of data which they have collected and the printing of their theses/dissertations.
The CODESRIA Small Grants Programme Disability Scholarships is open to graduate college students and pros currently registered in African universities, and preparing their theses and dissertations in all social science fields and other disciplines involving social or economic analysis. Preference is provided to individuals registered for doctoral research (PhD or equivalent), while handful of grants are obtainable for Masters theses.
